When traveling to the winter hot spot of Vail, Colorado, there would seem to be no end to the number of lodging options you’ll find. To help you break down your decision, there are four important aspects of each resort/rental you should consider, the value, amenities, season, and current discount deals being offered.

During summer or winter season, the Tivoli Lodge is a top luxury resort all within walking distance of Vail Village (shopping). For the summer vacationer, the Tivoli offers easy access to biking and hiking trails. The architectural décor is decidedly European, with a blend of worldly luxury and rustic elegance. All guests will enjoy complimentary breakfast, large soaking tubs, fitness room, and underground parking.

For the winter season, the Tivoli offers a number of ski specific features. One, the Vista Bahn ski lift is within walking distance. Two, the lobby is kept warm and cozy during the coldest months, featuring over-sized chairs, leather sofas, ceiling to floor fireplace, a well-stocked wine bar, and three, individual rooms each have their own fireplace. Current deals are starting from $224, with a 10 percent savings!

One of the best deals in town would have to be the Westwind at Vail Condominiums. The bedrooms range from one to four, including a full kitchen, living room, fireplace and balcony. In particular to those vacationing during the ski season, the condominiums are all located with the Eagle Bahn Gandola and Vail Ski School. The winter season skiers, will be particularly interested in the Vail Gondola, which is only 150 yards from its front entrance.
