Experience Is The Name Everyone Gives To Their Mistakes

If we don’t make mistakes, how will we ever know that it wasn’t a good decision? Mistakes can often be hurtful or embarrassing, but if we focus on the wisdom and growth that can arise from those experiences, we become better people in the end. In fact, our experience is defined by trial and error, reflection and change, and success rests upon our ability to take risks, own up to our mistakes, and try even harder the next time around.

Life is made up of a series of experiences and oftentimes, they’re moments when we didn’t always make the right choices. Those who are successful give credit to their mistakes as their learning experience to succeed. Mistakes are painful when they happen, but years later a collection of mistakes is what we called experience.

However, mistakes does not necessarily refer to humiliating events that we need to forget and hide. Mistakes are lessons that are crucial to our growth. When you make a mistake, admit it, learn from it, and don’t repeat it. Don’t let those people label you. Never allow anyone to tag your mistakes. You’ve learned your lesson and it is definitely the right time to move forward. The fact that you woke up this morning means that second chances exists. Turn your mistake into your next opportunity, a lesson learned.

Everybody makes mistakes. If you laugh it off and keep going and try to give it your best the next time around, people respect that. Everybody makes them at some point in their lives either they learn from them or not. There are many of us that have been broke, depressed, stressed, and ashamed for our past mistakes. While others, are forever cursed for the past mistake. But, there is always a lesson to learn when it comes to mistakes.

Sometimes we do wrong things, things that have bad consequences. But it does not mean we are evil, or that we cannot be trusted ever afterward. Smart people learn from their mistakes. Others learn from the mistakes of others and refrain themselves for making the same mistakes.

You can only learn from a mistake after you admit you’ve made it. As soon as you start blaming other people you distance yourself from any possible lesson. But if you courageously stand up and admit your mistakes and be accountable for the consequence of your action, then, the possibilities for learning will move towards you.
